Hi! Welcome.

I am so glad you are here! Let me introduce myself. My name is Emma, and before I go and list off all the things I do that define me, above all, I am a beloved daughter of God! All I am and all I do is because of Christ who has redeemed and transformed my life forever. I wanted to start this blog because I felt a pull on my heart to share what the Lord has done in my life, and I believe that messages of hope and stories of joy deserve to be shared!

 

Now, a little bit about my life:) I am twenty four years old, and I am currently living in Niagara, Ontario working in Campus Ministry. I grew up in Niagara with my parents and two younger sisters, and graduated from Brock University with a degree in English Language and Literature. I am a third generation Italian, and as you get to know me more, you will learn that my Italian heritage is something I am extremely proud of!

 

For as long as I can remember, reading and writing have been two of the most important passions in my life. While reading became my escape, pen and paper has become the place I go to heal, grow and learn in my life. My journals hold the truth of my innermost thoughts and feelings, and I have come to realize that it is through the process of writing that God has come to reveal His love and presence to me throughout my life. Through this blog I hope to share with you personal reflections, rewritings of family testimonies (family history is something I am super passionate about) and of course, glory stories of God's goodness in my life! 

 

The title of my blog, "She Walks By Faith" is inspired by one of my favourite scripture verses in 2 Corinthians which reads "We walk by faith, not by sight". This scripture verse has defined my life in so many ways, and has been for me a reminder of hope in even the darkest and most difficult times. Faith is what allows us and encourages us to have hope, and as we "walk" along this journey of life toward sainthood, faith reminds us that although we may not be able to see the full picture, a God who loves us DOES, and walks beside us each step of the way.

Thank you for letting me share my words with you, and it is my hope that this blog will bring you some joy and maybe even encourage you to encounter the love of the Lord for the first time, or in a new way!
